關公作為三國時期最出名最受喜愛的人物之一，擁有很多標簽：桃園三結義、溫酒斬華雄、過五關斬六將、刮骨療傷、顏良文丑、五虎上將等等都是發生在他身上的。這一個個標簽都是導致后來銅雕關公像被人所熟知的經典事跡，這些事跡也成為后人尊敬他的原因。
